THE AUTHORS
1. They've put pictures of there books on the website which can also help so your not just looking for a book with the title you know what the front cover looks like which can be very help full. With some websits theyve put part of their book in therewhich is a good thing to do.
2. In James Roys he has fact about him and his first book on a blank site with just fact after fact where as Stephen Herrick has it on his first page and I like that alot better.
3. My first Author will be Garth Nix. I've found that alot of people like his character for the attitude and how in some books partners up two completely differnent people. They also enjoy the creativity of his books.
My second author will be Joseph Delaney. People enjoy his books because in some of his books such as the Wardstone chronicals he makes them scary and can give you a bit of a scare which some people enjoy. His stories are also very adventurous and and are original.
4. When Joseph Delaney's career began with the release of a sci-fi book, written under the pen-name of J.K. Haderack. This was followed up by releases under his real name, including his first children's novel, which was in part based upon actual experiences and memories he had as a youth.

THE DESIGN OF A NOVELS COVER
1. The book I read was the Spooks Sacrifice, if you look to the right you'll see a book called the spooks sacrifice. I acted favourably be cause the front cover created alot of questions for me. I guessed almost straight away that the person holding the lantern was the Spook and that person next to him was a witch but if you closly on the background you see what look like witches jumping around.
2. No, the main reason I read it was because it was the next book in the wardstone chronicles which is my favourite series(thank you Ms Buckly).
3. to be a good front cover it has to stand out, it should have a title that isn't small but is nice and big. It should also have a picture which fills up the rest of the cover, some books don't have a picture instead they have a blank page with just the title. That is definetly something that I believe should be on unappealling front cover.
4. No, but that must be very bad I'd hate that to happenn to me.
5. The book is the trap. I get the sense of something dangerous is going on and just by looking at he front cover I want to figure out what it's about. I think the blood on the snow has a good affect and that bear trap just creates more questions, like has someone died their what happenned and what could it be doing there. This is a very appealing front cover.

ELECTRONIC LITERATURE
1. I honestly prefer Traditional novels Reading blogs and stuff like this I like, its just reading an entire nivel off a screen that I don't like.
2. There are games, sounds, images, music and text which young childeren LOVE.
3. Some advantages of e-literature is that you can get very saw eyes from starring at a screen and can even hurt your eyes. Say a boy is reading a book on his iPad, what's to stop him from going on the internet where as if he was reading a traditionalnovel his parents would be certain of what he was doing.
4. I guess in someways in can be abit alike. You still read it as though it was a traditional novel but I think you'll find it has more differences than similarities.
5. I've come across books of poetry and books containg lullabies.
6. You still read from left to right and get a slight sence in turning the pages. That's all I can think of.

reading experiences
1. I don't have a favorite reading place. I'll read almost anywhere I don't need a place I just need a book.
2. Any time suits me I love reading
3. I like the authors of my favorite books alot and I hope they make a biography or autobiography.
I love their creativity, when writing a book you can do anything, you can play God. My favorite authors(Joseph Delaney and Garth Nix)have really made their books interesting.
I have loved all their books that I've read and I got quite upset when I finished the series.
4. Only once has a book that I actually read was recomended to me my Ms Buckly and it was the spooks apprentice and I'm so glad she did.
Ms Buckly And I don't really have the same taste she reads any thing where as I enjoy adventure and horror.
The Spooks Apprentice was recomended to me.
Ms Buckly said it was a exciting book and really persuaded me to read it.
5. No all the books I've read seem original.

WHAT'S IN A TITAL
1. I believe the title is the best choice because it makes a lot of questions pop up in your head. The Spooks Sacrife, what could this mean. Will the spook give his life away? will he give something else away? This is agreat title and suits the book.
THE BLIRB ON THE BACK COVER
1. No, I read it because it was the next book in the series.
2.Ididn't read the blurb because it was the next book and I didn't want any spoilers.
3. Idid infact read the blurb after I finished the book and i recconn it did give a good acount of the overall experience.
4. The blub actually wasn't on the backcover, it was infact on the inside of the front cover. On the back it was plain and had only six words on it. Those words were Warning: Do not read after dark.
5. When Tom's Mam returns from her own land she asks for a favour. She wishes him to travel to Greace with her. But when Tom and his master find out who they'll be working with they start to have second thoughts.

The cabin boys adventure
"Land hoe!" some one cried out. Everone looked around and saw a island in the distance. "The men started to cheer and wave there hands around." The captain came out took a look at the island and said, "This calls for a celebration men." and he pulled out a bottle of wine. "you just keep mopin those decks lad," he said to me. Buy the time we reached the island the crew were all drunk in cluding captain hepintimes. As soon as we docked the ship the crew ran off to the nearest tavern their captain in the lead. I could only imagine the things they'd get up to. I decided to have a look around and headed up the road. As I was walking down a street I saw a inn in front of me so decided to get some accomidation for the crew. When I was about 5 metres away a girl came out who looked about 14 the same age as me. She wore a black dress had beatiful blond hair and what really caught my eye was her shoes. They were poity, I over heard stories from the men that a couple of them had seen witches and said that if a female is wearing pointy shoes she's a witch. She looked as though she was in a rush and headed down a dark ally. Some how curiosity got the better of me amd I started to follow her. The girl, the girl with the pointy shoes, the witch.
I followed her down the ally making shore to keep my distance. When we got to the end of the ally she turned right, were could she be going I thought. My Question was soon answered, we walked up a hill to an old house. I hid behind a tree while the girl knocked on the door three times. I heard the door open but didn't dare peak out and give away my hiding place. Then I heard a womans voice, she said "Dina youve returned at last." I guessed she was talking the girl I followed. I heard the some one siff really loudly three times and heard someone yell out, "Dina you traitor you brought some one here, a boy, yes, a boy name Tom he came by sea today and followed you and is hiding behind that tree." With that I sprinted down the hill and didn't glance back until I was a least half way. But oh God what a mistake that was, an woman you looked about 35 was chasing after me a knife in her right hand. I didn't look back until I'd gone past a few shops and to my surprise the lady was heading back up the hill again. I had to find the captain he'd no what to do. I ran down to the bar were the crew went in only to find the place deserted with only the bartender standig behind the counter picking up some glass. I looked around the room, it was a wreck. Tables were tipped, chairs in pieces glass every were it was amazing. I walked over to the counter and asked the bartender what had happened. "A crew that just came in today came in here already drunk and drank alot more here and eventually got into a fight and well you can see what the result was." A expression os sadness came across his faceand I suddenly felt really sorry for him, but I had to find the captain. "Do you know were they went?" "Not a clue, they went charging out of here after they recked the place with some of my finest women." I turned to leave but just before I left another question sprang into my mind. I turned around and asked the bartender and asked "Who lives on top of the hill North from here." The bartender's face changed from a look of sadness to a lok of surprise. "What do you know about that place?" he asked. "Well I believe that there is a witch living there. Is that true." The bartender frowned and said in a very soft voice, "In that house lives a very powerful witch none as the Night Time Killer. You must never enter her yard especially at night when she is at her full power but day time ia still very dangerous. You ever go wandering in there and you'll wind updead for shore. Mark my words. Never under any circumstances enter that yard now run along and try find that nasty, drunk crew and goodluck.
I peeked down the path to my left, and to my dismay saw that it was empty, at least as far I could see which wasn't very far because of the fog. I went across a few more rows until I saw jessy. Her once pretty blond hair was tangled and in knots, her dress was torn and stained, her shoes where missing and her face was covered in mud. None the less I was glad to see her and ran over to her a huge smile forming on my face. "It's so good to see you," I exclaimed giving her a big hug as I reach her. " It sure is good to see you to dear tommy," She beamed. "Please, DON'T CALL ME TOMMY! Suddenly there was a high pitched scream which sent a shiver down both our spines. I looked at her dress again taking note that it looke even worse when close up. "T...T...T...Tom look. I peered over to where she was pointing. In an instant my heart was in my shoes, for in front of us was the cloaked figure about 60 feet away. Jessy grabed my hand and before I had time to react she was pulling me down the isle I had found her. We ran as fast we could, I didn't dare look back for I feared that the cloaked figuer would be right behind us. Eventually when neither of us could run any further we stoppedto take a brake. We heard the bush next to us move. I held my breath fearing that it could be the hooded figure. I held Jessies hand as tight as I could and she squized back. The amount of sweat coming off of us could have saved any country from a drought. Suddenly something emerged out of the bush, only it wasn't the cloaked figure for it was Julian and patty. I quickly let go of Jessies hand because I didn't want them to see us holding hands and get the wrong idea.
